How can Parametirc Acoustic Simulation help design a Caring Space for the Sensorially Impaired?
The project is a space designed for unconventional care for visually and hearing impaired individuals in the Paris 13th arrondissement. To design specifically for acoustic experience, sound behavior simulations were used to inform shapes of the rooms. The project challenges the idea of inclusive design and explore ways to not only treat disability as a secondary concern but as a driver for better design decisions benefiting everyone.
